A staple of the North Indian breakfast (and more), the variously stuffed parathas can fill you up in less than twenty rupees. This mooli (radish?) paratha, I came across in Manali. Pickle of indeterminate origin.

John, the Andrews Ganj paranthas and Indian Express paranthas are mighty useful at midnight or therabouts.
The Dhaula Kuan one is no longer there, nor is the Uphaar one.
The pickle is always of inderteminate origin.
Might I suggest Sitaram's of Paharganj to you?
I think I ve been to Sitaram's, though I am not sure we're talking of the same place. Is it directly opposite the Pahar Ganj gate to the station?
Moolchand parathas? These are great studies in the growth of brands. :)
Andrews Ganj and Moolchand are the same.
Sitaram is better approached from Panchkuian road. There is a movie hall bang across it...the name eludes me now.
Those must be the best paranthas and stuffed kulchas served up in Delhi. Slurp!
Without these joints, I wonder how I would have survived during my hostel days? The foot at the various hostel messes I ate in was atrocious.
